If you would like to study intensively for a set period of 3 or more weeks, our exam courses are specifically designed to get your English to exam-ready level.
Our exam courses offer 21 hours (28 lessons) of tuition each week, Monday to Friday. Classes take place in central Cambridge at our Main School on Station Road and also (in July and August), at our summer centre at Hills Road Sixth Form College.
You must be of at least an intermediate standard at the beginning of the IELTS-28 and CAM-28 First courses. If you are not yet at this level, we recommend starting study on our EFL-28 course for several weeks before moving to the exam course.
You must be of at least an upper-intermediate standard at the beginning of the CAM-28 Advanced course.
A registration fee is required for all intensive English courses.
The amount of the Registration fee depends on your age on the day you start your course:
The reason for this difference is the additional welfare measures we have in place for students who are under 18 years of age. This is because these students are not legally adults according to UK law.
Practising English in free after-class activities
Students come to Studio Cambridge from over 65 countries each year to study English in the UK, and therefore they already speak lots of languages. It is very important that you continue speaking English with your friends and classmates after your lessons are finished for the day, therefore we include at least one social activity per weekday, free of charge.
